Materials and tools
You will need:
- Yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby – 3 colors: white and pink as main, some violet for edging and a bow, a little bit of yellow, some black for whiskers
- Hook # 3.5 – 4
- Thread to sew on ears (Iris or mouline type)
- Stuffing for toys
- Eyes 12 mm across
- Buttons for decoration
Abbreviations
- MR = magic ring
- sc = single crochet
- inc = increasing
- dec = decreasing
- dc = double crochet
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
Hands (make 2)
Crochet with 2 colors – start with white, then change to pink.
1) 6 sc in magic ring
2) 6 inc (12)
3) (3 sc, inc) x 3 times (15)
4) 15 sc
5) 13 sc, dec (14)
Now crochet using pink color.
6) 12 sc, dec (13)
7) 11 sc, dec (12)

Stuff the bottom part lightly.
Fold in half and close the opening with 5 sc.
We will join hands to the body.
Ears (make 2)
Crochet using white color:
1) 6 sc in magic ring

4) (3 sc, inc) x 3 times (15)
5) (4 sc, inc) x 3 times (18)
Fold in half and close the opening with 9 sc.
Legs, body and head are made as 1 part
Stuff tightly while crocheting.
Start with legs (make 2):
1) 8 sc in magic ring using violet color

3) 16 sc into the back loop only
4) 16 sc
Now crochet using white color.
5) 16 sc into the back loop only
6-11) 16 sc
Fasten off and make the 2nd leg.
After making the 2nd leg, work 6 sc more, 1 ch and start joining the legs.

Now crochet using pink color.

To avoid the head hanging loosely, stuff the neck tightly and insert several cotton swabs.

Skirt
Go back to the 15th row that was worked into the back loop only. Start working the 1st row of the skirt into the front loop only using pink color.
1) 2 ch to raise, 1 dc, 2 dc into the next stitch, and continue like that to the end of the row, sl st in the end of the row
2) 2 ch to raise, 2dc into each stitch, sl st in the end of the row
3) Now crochet using violet color. 1 sc into each stitch. Fasten off and weave in loose ends.
Assembly
Sew ears to the head, pinning them first to set straight.
Sew eyes to the head at the 35th row; it should be 8 sc between them.
Embroider the nose a bit lower with yellow yarn. Try to make everything straight, symmetrical, you can experiment.
Make the flower: 6 sc in magic ring using yellow color; then (2 ch, 2 dc, ch, sl st) into each stitch. Repeat 6 times – it makes 6 petals. Weave in loose ends and sew it to the head.
Embroider whiskers and sew the buttons using black yarn. And your squeezable Kitty is finished!!!
