Let’s Be Brutally Honest About Pattern Difficulty Levels by Franklin Habit
Found this article in an email I received from Lionbrand. Thought it was worth sharing.

OMG!!! This is just TOO funny! As a designer, deciding skill levels is really difficult for me. Reading this I laughed till I cried!

You said it, brother!
This article is spot on! while I don't design patterns, I am pretty good at following them and there are times when I want to challenge myself and take on a 5 star pattern and end up doing pretty well on them. On the other hand, I have taken on a so called easy pattern and became completely confused and ended up with a doily instead of a hat.
Great article.

It was really funny and thought provoking! I can see that I'm just a three star crocheter?
