What types of dishes do you like to cook in the Fall season?
Fall time brings us cooler weather. With the change of the season, it is a great time to start cooking different dishes such as potato soups, chili, meatloaf, ect.
What types of dishes do you like to cook during the Fall season?

I like to make chili, lasagna, meatloaf, pumpkin bars, pumpkin bread. I am going to try to make some apple butter this fall. I like to make my homemade vegetable soup too.

When it cools of here in the California foothills I like to make soups. All kinds. One of the only ways my husband enjoys his veggies.

I like to make what is referred to as comfort food : Meat loaf,, pot roast with potatoes and carrots, chili, lasagna, and beef stew. I also love to bake chocolate chip cookies. A good movie, a warm afghan, snow lightly falling, (no where I have to be) fresh cookies and a glass of cold milk and my latest project to knit or crochet and I am a happy person.

I always make a lot of beef vegetable soup and freeze it in portions then it's all ready to thaw and heat up on a cold night with some fresh made cornbread yummy!! Also chilli, potato soup, clam chowder, meat loaf, lasagna, chicken pot pie, bean soup with ham and potatoes and of course cornbread :-) happy fall love and hugs Winnie

Winnie I just love Cornbread, but it is best with homemade butter, wish I could find some. Maybe when I move down South I can find some.

Chili, soups, stews and I tend to make more casseroles this time of year. Corn bread is a great go with for these and I also like making corn fritters. Apple crisp makes a good dessert, too.

I don't have any special dishes for specific seasons except for on the holidays, but I am looking forward to making something new for my husband that I'm sure he'll enjoy: Spaghetti Bread. It looks delicious!
