I don't use acrylic yarn. So, all my crochet goodies get hand washed and I use baby laundry detergent on them..It's very gentle on the yarn and they smell good too,lol! I flat dry as well.

I'm not too crazy either over Red heart super saver. Too hard to work with.

I much prefer using the softer yarns for like Amigurumi's . As Red heart yarn splits when I'm doing the tight stitches.

I would like to learn the hair pin lace too. I've been crocheting 40 yrs now and still never learned that.
