Believe it or not it is Gala yarn from Big Lots ($1 a ball) - it is really soft - you have to dig through their yarn because some of what Big Lots sells is not soft at all.

Thanks. I don't know Gayla yarn. I have seen the ladies on Knitting Paradise speak of it. I am in Canada and we do not have a Big Lots here. I am sure it won't be long before we do though, seeing that everyone else is moving in. We now have Marshalls and Target. Saks is on her way in. Looks like we are the 53rd. State, only we don't know about it. LOL

Hi Susan, Yes, I celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not Halloween. I am crocheting a blanket for one of my grandsons' Christmas. it is taking me some time as it incorporates a train with tracks, and smoke and the works. Hence, I am using different colours on bobbins. I bought the pattern on line, but I can't remember if it was from Red Heart - I believe it is. I am not using their yarn, I am using the Bernat Satin.
