Leo is 1
My grandson will be 1 on Friday. I'm off on the plane tomorrow and will be back Monday. I made him this cute little monkey and his name is Bradley Banana Porfirio. I'll be 20 miles south of Nashville so Faye be watching, I'll wave to you. Even though I have been very busy this month I have had a VERY strong urge to make this pansy doily that Cindy posted in January. I Love how it came out. I was a little worried about the cur lines, but that's all gone. I love the curliness now. Also since I felt my thread had too much white in it, I did the edging in deep purple. I love how that came out too. So with a great big thank you and big kudos to Cindy, I post the pictures. My friend Maryanne gave me the purple vase and it has the perfect home now. Happy crocheting my CT friends.

Very beautiful doily! You definitely don't MONKEY around when it comes to getting things done LOL!LOL! I love the monkey, that is 1 of my favorites to make stuffed animals and crocheted dolls! LOVE YOUR FRIEND MANDA!

Annette, Have a safe trip, and like Amanda said, you sure don't monkey around when it comes to crocheting. Cute, cute monkey. Your grandson will loooooove it. And that doily is beautiful. Of, course, purple is one of my favorite colors. Everything you crochet turns out gorgeous!!!. You have those magic fingers, girl!!!!!!! My fingers haven't touched a hook in over a week. This darn cold is getting old!!I even cancelled my hair appt., and when I do that my husband says he knows I don't feel good! Happy Easter!!! Happy Birthday to Leo!!!
