How cute! I especially love the bright colors. I've seen pictures similar to this on line. A lot of times it's done outside, like around the trunk and branches of a tree. It's called "yarn bombing" and, believe it or not, it's actually illegal in a lot of cities (outside). Whats up with that?

I recently down-sized, moved into a new place. I'm in the process of decorating and am using these same bright "happy" colors. My home is turning into my little cheery country cabin. I found my couch and several pieces of furniture in thrift shops, used furniture stores and on Craig's List. Much more eclectic and "artsy" than what I see brand new in the stores. I want my home to be my "retreat" my "santuary."

I guess it's illegal outside because it's "defacing" something? I've seen pictures of yarn bombing around telephone poles. I even saw a picture on line where someone yarn-bombed a CAR.
