Christmast Presents

where does your group meet? online or at someone's home..how do you get together? Do you just exchange patterns for your gifts or how does it work?

Our group meets at our friend Maryanne's house. She's our "teacher". New people do a potholder, a scarf and a hat to learn basic stitches and techniques. After that,we just work on whatever we want to. We do share patterns and copy each other when we like it. We share magazines, yarn, and ideas. We are all good friends and sometimes it's a therapy session. I sometimes bring in a project and just sew in ends, because it can be distracting to my concentration. Christmas gifts can be anything. I just love to crochet so I make things. Thanks for asking. Annette

That sounds like a really nice group. You do great work. I love challenge too. I haven't tried thread work yet but I love to work with fine yarn so maybe thread is next.
