What stitch is this
Hi. Im new here. I like buying afghans. I just bought this nice afghan. Its about 4' square. I love the colors and pattern. Im not knowledgeable about various stitches. Can someone tell me what stitch was uded to make this throw.

It's a granny square. You make 3 double crochet in the chain spaces (usually ch2 or ch3) and in the corner chain you make 3dc, ch2 or 3, 3dc

This is a basic granny square which you can google a pattern and/or a you tube video for instructions.
