Susan, thank you for the prayers and love. I do appreciate them. Who is it you want me to watch over?
For right now the idea of moving to Chicago is only a dream of my son's, but he is single. His girlfriend is from Illinois so she might like to be closer to home. So who knows?
Please don't cry or feel bad for me. I get frustrated with my situation, but most of the time we do quite all right. I don't want to ever sound as if I am complaining.

Its not so much my age (I'm 68) its that my body won't behave. I have lots of health problems that just won't go away (LOL) but I have 6 wonderful grandchildren who keep me young and I love them beyond saying. I'm young in my mind and keep it busy with reading, crocheting, etc. I can beat the mental problems and pray to
God about my physical problems. With that combination I'll go a long, long way.
Thanks for reading!

Whose business is it, if I choose to read, or play, on the computer, until 4 AM, or sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 50, 60 & 70's, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love, I will. I will walk the beach, in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves, with abandon, if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They, too, will get old.
I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life is just as well forgotten. And, I eventually remember the important things. Sure, over the years, my heart has been broken. How can your heart not break, when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But, broken hearts are what give us strength, and understanding, and compassion. A heart never broken, is pristine, and sterile, and will never know the joy of being imperfect.
The alternative is not what I am ready for. lol It's an awakening that makes you look at life differently. I must say you get over things that happen in your life much quicker. Families grow apart and that doesn't hurt as bad. So, to answer your question, God's blessings sees us thru our daily walk and we take time to smell the flowers.
