I use my scrap yarn to make varigated throw rugs. Use 3 strands of yarn and make a rectangle. The stripes come out looking pretty good. There is a spray you can buy to put on the back so they don't slip.

Where do you get that spray? And what is it called?

It's a ruber backing spray like you would use on kids slippers or on carpet bottomes.

Thanks for the idea. I have a couple of rugs that I have crocheted that need some backing on them. Hopefully, I can find it here in town.

Would you get it at Home Depot or Michaels?

home depot would carry the rug backing spray, walmart, michaels, joan fabrics, hobby lobby, would also carry a rubber backing spray for rugs or slipper feet. Good Luck!! Later Gater! Kit

I love ripples and zig zag and this looks like an easy zig zag pattern. You can do anything you want with colors. I made a pretty red, white and blue one for a veteran in nursing home.
