    Anyone else make it I love using it and recycling t-shirts I can't hand down.

    What do you recommend as the optimal T-shirt yarn width/ crochet hook size combination? I
    would love to make some rag rugs and a new dog bed using this method. Thanks, Karen.

    I like the look of rugs made with T shirt yarn, and I'm sure they would be wonderfully soft. What holds me back is having to CUT all those strips. I'm making a rag rug from sheets, and you can just tear the strips. If I were a little younger, I'm sure it wouldn't bother me, but I need to save these old hands when I can.

    my fiance cuts them for me because with my carpal tunnel i just cant anymore sometimes I cant even crochet

    Glad you have a helper with the scissors! My hubby is 17 years older than me, (and I'm old, lol). We don't trust him with scissors anymore. (Just kidding.)
