    I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing. A granny square to start and blend them all together to make one blanket is ideal in my opinion. Good luck to you.

    i agee with the g square. i think the boys scouts have to have a sewing badge or something like it, so see if you can get them involved too

    Never thought about asking the boys! What a great idea. I'll definitely check that out. The girls are from a town about 10 miles from me, but I know there is a Boy Scout troop that meets at my church.

    That is so awesome. You are creating a nw generations of crafters. I remember someone teaching me when I was young and I am still hooked (no pun intented). Love the idea of making square and making blankets to give to charity. You truly are a blessed person.
