Looking at different patterns of things and looked at some slippers and as before I was wondering.... Aren't they slippery to walk on!!?? I sure would like to know if that is a problem before I even think of attempting that, too old to go skating across the floor! Do you get some sort of traction or does some people put some type of grip on the sole...
I have been making slippers for over fifty years and have never had a problem with them being overly slippery IF they are made to the correcrt size. Of couse just as in any show/slipper if it is too big they can be dangerous. U too have heard about the paint on the soles but have not used it myself.

rosieh20 Hi, you can buy a liquid to paint on the bottoms or buy a grid like on the bottom of childrens pajamas. I hope this helps.
Good stiches
