Looks a lot like entrelac. Which is used with the Tunisian stitch.

To me, it looks like the purl side of knitting. Not sure though, picture is blurry.

Cant see the sts too well; but the pink ones look like knit in garter st [knit every row] to me.
Knit Garter Stitch looks like little horizontal rows of "humps" that almost hide the "loops" rows between them

Even though this is a knitted pattern you can still probably do this in crochet. There are "checks" crochet patterns. I looked on YouTube and put this in the search field "checks pattern in crochet." The first 3 were actual crochet patterns in a checkerboard pattern. Can this help?

Hi and I just received a Book "From needle to Hook" by The needlecraft Shop on Amazon. Converting Knit toCrochet. I have
schemed thru it and looks very helpful. On a Rainy Day. Snow/cold days good for Spring cleaning??? HUGS
