    Looks a lot like entrelac. Which is used with the Tunisian stitch.

    Cant see the sts too well; but the pink ones look like knit in garter st [knit every row] to me.
    Knit Garter Stitch looks like little horizontal rows of "humps" that almost hide the "loops" rows between them

    Even though this is a knitted pattern you can still probably do this in crochet. There are "checks" crochet patterns. I looked on YouTube and put this in the search field "checks pattern in crochet." The first 3 were actual crochet patterns in a checkerboard pattern. Can this help?

    schemed thru it and looks very helpful. On a Rainy Day. Snow/cold days good for Spring cleaning??? HUGS
