Stitch11, I love your attitude! I couldn't agree w/ you more...just ask for permission. Like you said a border is all it takes to make it their own but what about your thought and work that went into the creation? I guess most people are negative and that's why they don't ask. I guess the internet hasn't made it as easy as we hoped.

FYI:
Unless there is a statement that the pattern is "in the Public Domain," it's safe to assume it's copyrighted. When sharing specific patterns, it's better to give a link to the original than to give the pattern to a friend to make something. If you want to sell items using someone's pattern, always ask permission to be safe. BTW, ALL Disney character patterns are copyrighted; and Disney is vigorously circumspect about protecting them.
