    The only way I know is to keep it away from the babies. I don't know of any coating you could put on it, but if there is I am sure it would defeat the purpose of a soft and cuddly afghan. Didja try using your scrap yarn for making the critter kids a blankie of their own so they won't feel left out when mom has hers?

    hi no real help here been my experience that small dogs love to burrow so only solution is to make them their o own i guess and put that one wjere they dont go or something s sorry
