What Project Are You Working On?
Let's start a thread showing what projects we're currently working on! We'd all love to see your photos!
I just started a pretty light-weight scarf using a size F hook and a super silky yarn in variegated colors of pink, lavender, and yellow. The yarn is actually a #3 baby yarn that I have leftover from a chevron baby blanket I recently made.
Here's a link to the pattern. Keep in mind that it's written in UK English, so the TC is actually a DC in American English. Last winter, I made several scarves for gifts, using this awesome pattern. I'm loving the way it's turning out!

How pretty! Now that's a scarf I would strongly consider making because it's lightweight enough to be of use to me in the brutally chilly AC in restaurants around here.
My current project is cleaning out my stash. Way, way too much yarn so Salvation Army will be getting a big donation.

That's really great of you Ponciana, I get my yarn from thrift stores (or my local wonderful wholesale warehouse that I'm blessed to live near that has thrift store prices (!!), and it's never smelled bad, it usually has labels and it's often a whole new skein or with very little used, really good quality yarn - some people will be made very happy by you for you doing that! You might think about taking it up there at different times to they'll spread it around better, some people go in, get it all and leave none for others. Just a thought

I might be too late for this time but I'd be glad to pay postage for some of that de-stashing Poinciana, if you donate more sometime. Sorry if this sounds tacky, I certainly don't mean for it to and I do have my pride! But being disabled, I get my yarn however I can, and I'd rather get it from someone I 'know' any day.
Most of my yarn was gifted thru various means of gifting, or lot bargains, or I wouldn't have any, and thrift stores have provided me with some of the best, nicest, cleanest and often new full skeins of yarn with labels till on! I look online regularly for bulk lots sold by individuals but you never know exactly what you'll get for your $$ with some of them.
It's just a thought, you may not want to do it like that or have any extra left, just something for you & others on here to keep in mind for those of us who have trouble getting yarn. It's really hard having enough of one color/weight to make a decent size piece, like a top or something, but I'm pretty good with combining weight & colors.

I donate yarn to a local church group for their prayer shawls. They don't have much money for yarn.
