Concussion
Two weeks ago,I was retracting the awning on my motorhome and the rod I was using slipped and hit me in the left temporal area, resulting in a concussion. The PA said that I needed to rest my brain and I should refrain from crochet, reading, and my tablet. I really miss my crochet more than everything. Oops! Better get off my tablet!

Hopefully, when you do get back on the tablet, you will be feeling a whole lot better. Take care and follow doctors orders!!!

How long did he say you needed to rest your brain? Hope you are doing better soon.

Thank you,Roe. I really am trying. Had to give up driving to Lincoln,NE today so I could sit for my 5 year old granddaughter all day tomorrow. I hated that! You can be sure that I will make that trip ASAP!

At the earliest,it takes 10 days to recover from a concussion. This is now my 15th day and I still have slight headaches, but the ringing in the ears has been gone all day today,so,I am getting better. It just takes time. The rod has an inch right angle end. I was so lucky it was turned away from me!

Thank you for your kind reply. I am really anxious to take my motorhome out again, walk my dogs, and crochet! My husband had offered to put the awning up before he left to go irrigate his corn that morning. Guess I will accept the offer from now on!

Hi Dona,
I pray that you will get better soon. How can you go without crocheting?
