Hi Polishgirl and PatS,

Click on my name above my avatar picture and then click on 'view forum posts'. Then after you click on 'view forum posts' go to the search box at the top of the page and type in 'my attempt at a doily'. Once it takes you to that page click on 'my attempt at a doily.' The pictures are on page 8 of this post.

Or, you can go to the crochet talk newsletter and look for the post 'my attempt at a doily'. Click on that and then go to page 8 to see the pictures.

Jean Marie, do you think you might have your stitches to tight, I made dozens of Doilies when I was able to crochet with thread. If I got my tention to tight it would curl like that. I had to learn to crochet and have my tention looser. I use to love making doilies.

I'm just checking posts today for the 1st time. I may be doing something wrong (NOT for the 1st time) but I was unable to see your pictures.

I went and looked at your pictures and they look alright to me. If they are curling I couldn't tell in the picture, but that does mean you have to loosen up. No big problem
