Hi Diana. Thank you so much for the welcome. I don't think I replied to you before now. I've had so many welcomes and advice that I think I'm having trouble keeping track. You're right, this is really a great group and I'm so glad I found you all. I don't know how talented I am but I do try to do good work. I'm am rather slow with my crochet compared to what my grandmother and mother used to do, but I don't think speed makes any difference. Its the shape of the stitches that count. So I'll just say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Donna D

Hi Donna;
I also use that thread a lot as well. I don't recall having that problem when using it though. Have you found any of the suggestions you've gotten helpful. It's good to see others that like to use thread as much as me. Good Luck!

Denise, Thanks for the reply. I love Aunt Lydia's colors and have had no problems with them. For some reason the white thread has a different feel and stiffer texture. Several ladies recommended DMC Cebelia. I'm going to order some this week. It's really nice to hear from other people who use thread. It seems that yarn is the most popular right now. I think some of us need to keep thread crochet from becoming a dying art. Donna D
