HI from North Georgia!
I'm very new to crochet. I knit and quilt a little and finally learned how to crochet. I tend to knit tightly so learning how to crochet was a real challenge not to mention very frustrating! But finally I can crochet a little.

Hello Hamann, It is a bit hard for me to relax and knit. So I try to put on some soothing music, have a good cup of tea, and take my time. Remember to take in a breath and let it out slowly. I hope this helps.

Hello Hamann and welcome to the group. I'm Jan. Glad you could join us. Just remember to take one stitch at a time and shortly you will find that your crocheting is coming along smoothly. You will find that not only are we friendly but we are helpful as well. Have fun.

Glad to hear that you are keeping on. I started with baby booties and I have made many pairs now. You might try beanie caps as they are very easy. If you have questions someone on here has the answer. Welcome!!

Hi, I am Karen. I have been crocheting for many years and was wondering if I was doing double crochets correctly at the end and beginning of the rows. Watching one of the tutorials on this website helped me very much. By the way, it was just last night that I did this! Enjoy the crocheting!
