Hello from Central Ohio!!!
I have been crocheting since I was 8 years old. My mother taught me and she likes my work better than her own. (I guess I am a bit of a perfectionist, lol) My desire, now that I am 40 is to learn to knit. I believe you CAN "teach an old dog new tricks"! I enjoy looking at new patterns and enjoy the challenge of working some of the more advanced projects. I was just informed I am going to be an Aunt, so I am looking for that perfect baby afghan for the first-time parents to enjoy with the new baby! Anyone have a favorite they would care to share?
Looking forward to making lots of new friends and sharing our talents!

Yes, I just learned the Tunisian stitch (I think that is knooking) very recently and enjoy it very much! Have made a few things, dishcloths and such as I learn and master the different stitches. But I think it makes me want to knit even more! lol

Knooking is a little different than tusinian stitching...more like knitting w/ a crochet hook and string....
