    It wouldn't in my house either. I have found rug patterns where they are using cotton yarn or worsted weight yarn too. I may make one using cotton, worsted weight and t-shirt yarn.

    Combining those different yarns will give your rug interesting and beautiful textures. Just make sure all the yarns say machine wash and tumble dry!

    You are very welcome Sisty. I found that crocheting is like riding a bicycle it all comes back to you. Sometimes we just need a little refresher. I sure did. I crochet mainly afghans, granny squares and am now branching out learning how to crochet simple 5 petal flowers with the help of a video tutorial. I know you are excited about your next project. I'm sure the bedspread for your granddaughter will turn out lovely!
