    Saving those little bits

    I use a little tomato paste in some foods - but have a lot left over. You are probably all aware of this trick, so I'm sending this to you as a reminder.

    Freeze the left overs in ice cube trays. When they are frozen, pop them out and put them in a plastic freezer bag.

    I also do this with other herbs.

    Thanks for sharing! In the past, I also kept a bowl with lid in the freezer that I could add bits and small amounts of leftover veggies in. Then, later use the bowl to add to some homemade soup.
