My first name is after my mother, her name is Barbara as well. My middle name is after my grandmother on my father's side that died before I was born.

My first name is for my grandmother, my second name is for my mother.

My first name is for my dad. William. and my middle is the same as my mom's. Everyone ask if im from the south. LOL. South Michigan.

After 3 days, my mama and daddy brought me home unnamed as a newborn from the hospital. My mama wanted the perfect name for me; she saw a lady whose name was Beverly on the society page and knew it would fit me to a T! She was so right! I love the history behind how I was named.

Kaye and I were named by our maternal grandmother (Ma) but we use our middle names as they are our twin names. Ones that rhyme: Kaye and Faye but our first names don't ryhme Kaye's is Brenda and you'd think mine would be Linda or something that rhymes but NO my first name was ...Etta. No, you may not use that name I HATE it but I kept it as my middle name when I got divorced and took my maiden name. I honored my grandmother by keeping it but now as my middle name.

My Mom told me I was named after Tammy Wynette (singer) and the Tammy movies that Debbie Reynolds made (Tammy, Tammy, Tammy's in love).

My Mom wanted to name me Elizabeth and call me Beth, but my Dad said they'd call me Liz and he did not want that.

I was born 3 months premmie and weighed 2 1/4 lbs. My grandma told my mom I needed to have a little name to go with my size, so Jo it was.

My Mom wanted a "nice old fashioned name" so she picked "Susan". her Dr tried to talk her out of it, as he had heard a lot of that name, but nooooooo. (I think Shirley Temple or some othe actress named her child Linda Susan). So in my small town (less than 200 in the senior class) there were 5 Susans!!!

My real name is Janice, and Mom never did tell me where she got the name Janice, I think she just heard the name and named me that, because if I would have been a Boy, My name would be "Tucson" .. I kid you not LOL
