Need some Ideas
I just finished making a baby sized pixie hat. The old fashioned kind like a rectangle with the chin strap. I want to snazz it up. Any ideas? Crocheted flowers? Clip on fabric flower? Ribbons? Trims? Anyone snazzed up a pixie hat before?

I have seen so many plastic buttons at Walmart with cars, animals, and different things. That is if you wanted to do something different instead of crocheting something.

I made one last year for DIL and decorated w/a charm I put together from Jewlry making stuff at Michael's ...attached firmly to the tip dangling down a bit. It was just the right touch!

Being a jewelry maker, I like the charm idea!! But ALL ideas sound darling!! What did you go with? Does it need to be washable?

I like flowers on hats but I like the charm idea too! I'm glad I don't have to decide!!

The charm is washable too...just turn the hat inside out before tossing into the machine!

When I think of pixies I think of small animals like frogs and turtles and fireflies and ladybugs. Probably just me but that is my take on the pixie. Oh, flowers lots of flowers anything to do with nature.

I think these crocheted buttons would be nice. The pattern is free....just make sure you download the English instructions.
