    Help with Spiderman afghan

This is done in the round and somehow I am doing something wrong as it is curling up something awful! I made a picture of it to help you see the problem. My stitch count is right but do I go up a hook sizeHelp with Spiderman afghan-spiderman-afghan-001-jpg

Hey twinfaye it kind of looks like your not adding enough stiches. I have done that also. Maybe just reading the instructions out loud will help. It helps me and my room mate laughes out loud. I have even had her read them to me. She does no crafts so we both get a laugh.
    Good stiching

Is it round? I agree w/ Billie by the looks of the pic, or maybe go up a hook and see if that helps....

My stitch count is good, I checked it. So if I go up a size do I start over or start where it starts to curl? I really am perplexed!!

I am also thinking that the tension looks really tight, too. If you are crocheting tightly, increasing your hook size will also help.

Ok, thanks for the help I will unravel what I have and start with a bigger needle, recheck the pattern and stitches and try to ease up my tension. Although I think you crochet with the same tension that you use every time. My mother crochets loose and she can't crochet tighter and I can't seem to be able to crochet looser.

Thanks Landon. I don't want to work on it now but I must because my son wants it and I want to surprise him.
