Crochet Grips
If you need crochet grips to hold the crochet hook so it's more comfortable for your hand the dollar store has some. Also, I have seen online that you can make a crochet handle to put on your hook with polymer (don't know if I spelled it right) clay.

Hi Jean, I've also used rubber pencil grips. There are several in one package.
