thanks for the effort, but it is not quite the same, the twisted part is different....they have what almost looks like a cable and this one merely has an entwined long loop

I like the cotton ones because they feel like they're scrubbing but they aren't harsh

I do also on afghans and things that have a lot of tension put on them, but toques don't get that much hard use and I like the smoother finish you get when you only go thru one loop
