A friend of mine likes making the never ending granny, this would work well for that pattern, she uses 4 - 6 strands at a time. I'll have to pick her up one for her birthday...thanks for the idea, I have been trying to think of something to give to her for her birthday.

Ithink Wendy you have my idea?? Done this the last 3 years, got a basket at a Goodwill Store fot 1.49 looked new and use it for 3 skeins. I still get tangles in them tho. I have Bought Shelly's Knit-Winder her and Brother are selling. Ill wind them & putthose thru a rod I have in my Basket...Perfect. The Knit Winder is so nice, quick & can be used with any yarn.
