Cardigan I made and got paid for making for the first time!!!

ginny2228 it took about a week, I had made one for myself and had worked through all the kinks in the pattern. The pattern is worked from the neck down so when I got to the armholes I did a fitting, well it was a little snug across the back so I had to rip it out and make it a little bigger. The customer is always right. I think if I could have powered through it, it would have taken me about 5 days. I find once I have worked through a pattern and have my gauge down the second time around is a lot faster.

That is Incredible!! I think it would take me at least a month if not more :-)

Jaxwoman, I hadn't heard that before but I really hope it is true. We all need to remember the old farmer's adage - use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
