    bibs for my niece (due in June)

    Well I figured out how to stitch in letters. Here is my work.

    very nice..do you have a pattern that you used?..always looking for something to make..and my grand daughter would love this..lol..my daughter might not..but I am a granny that don't care..lol..Aleah is only 4 weeks old today and don't think she will mine..I know she will love it...she already loves her granny..lol. I like them very much ..very pretty and nice colors too..the letter came out AWESOME..hugs Anne

    I used a pattern from Bernat website. See below. This pattern request the use of bernat handicrafter yarn but I decided to use Lilys Sugar and Cream 100% cotton yarn. One skein makes one bib. I paid 1.89 per skein at AC Moore here in Maryland. I hope this helps.

    Me2la, The letters are not part of the pattern. I used YouTube to figure the letter out. The stitch is called embroidery chain stitch. The stars are felted and I purchased a small bag of those from the yarn store. I added two clear buttons to adjust the bib. But please accent the bib how you wish and please share the photos.
