Well, they have sold 40 tickets so far (no idea what the cost is), and the drawing will not be until the end of April. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the fundraising goes well, and I have some mad money tucked away to help a bit more.

I like to block my acrylic projects, and my favorite blocking method is (when size permits) a full project warm water soak followed by rolling the soaking wet project between towels (I was in a hurry so used the washer's spin cycle this time.
I used a touch of dish soap because I have household pets and the pollen season is starting up here (North Carolina) so there was some debris to get rid of; the vinegar is to soften the acrylic.
It relaxes the fiber quite a bit, so you wouldn't want to use vinegar on a tote or something that needed structure.

Have never heard of the vinegar to soften the acrylic but will definitely try this. How much vinegar did you use? Thanks a bunch for this tip.
