Kathy inspired me to want to make cat and dog scarfs so I bought a pattern for a different type of scarf and I used the heads from that pattern and made up a simple pattern of half double crochets and added a tail to the dog but I'm still thinking about what to do for the cat. Kathy put paws on the end but I'm thinking I may do a tail since most cats have tails. You guys said that you wanted more pictures so here they are.

OH MY!! I lost my post!!! One of these days I am going to come undone. I type a paragraph and zip it's gone. Anyway the pattern has a dog, cat Christmas light and a tree scarf. You use the dog head twelve times and that makes a scarf. It's cute but I don't want to make that many little parts. I do love the puppy the best. I used the colors of my puppies!

They are really cute! You could do a tail for the cat that has a little curve to the end, i've always thought that looked cute-like the cat is asking a question?

I live in Florida and thankfully there is no need for scarfs down here but have family up north and would love to make them. I have a niece in Washington who has cats, cats, cats and works on a volunteer basis with an animal shelter. The cat would be purrfect for her. Any chance you could send me the pattern? alta@cfl.rr.com is my e-mail.
