    My Dad's blanket

Took me a month, working a couple hours through the week and maybe 6 hours on the weekend; started 2-10-13 and ended 3-10-13. Dave put it in the mail this morning, and he should get it Wed.

I really like the way it came out; my first attempt at an edging and it didn't come out too bad. A friend told me to crochet 2, and go back into the loop where you started the 2-chains... and all that happened was a mess, so the first 8 times (twice around the blanket), I did the best I could... the last 4 I chained 1 and went into the first stitch, it was a charm!

Looks good, Tammy. All I've done for a plain border is a double crochet or single crochet. The double crochet goes quick and looks masculine. Your blanket looks great, and your father will love it.

My Dad loves his blanket; he said it was too hot, but I swear he had to have the heat turned up to 90! LOL.. he's always cold.

Another story to come.... read about Nib's Blanket with a picture!
