Those swatches are beautiful. They are more like patterns. If you can copy them you will have very beautiful pieces. Made into doilies, or made into afghans, you name it. You have a real inheritance.

hmmmmmmm most of them are finished and it would not take much to finish off the others to make them into doilies I have a room in my house that is dedicated to my mom its my craft room. My mom collected Angels and I have part of her angel collection she had over 350 angels. I have all of her unfinished crocheting. neither of my sister in laws ever learned to crochet. She Had 5 unfinished afghans when she passed and my intentions are to finish each one and give them to my brothers and their wives and one to my husband.

Your mother was a very talented lady who did beautiful work!! I, myself, have to have a written pattern. I so admire people who can just look at a pattern and then make the item. Your mom was a very special lady and you are very lucky to have had her. Looks like she passed her talents to you. God Bless.
