Beautiful work, especially the color changing. Even though I've been crocheting a very long time, I've never attempted such a complicated project.
Like so many others, I really like the soldier blanket. My daddy is a retired Army sergeant major 40 years active duty and an Army civilian. I've been around our military my whole life, mostly lived on Army posts when I was growing up, lots of moving around. I married a Naval officer, my boys' dad. I've worked as a civilian for the Army, and Navy, for 22 years. My daddy did 2 tours in Vietnam when I was little. I'm thankful I was too young to realize what he was living through, he's now 75 and still won't talk about it. Over the past 13 years I've had so many co-workers and friends who were deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm always so relieved when they make it back home safely. I totally love and support our troops, and our veterans!!!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your pictures!
