Looks good to me. The pic in the pattern is more pointy, though. Did you use stuffing in the head? Cause the pattern does not call for it, just says Flip pointed tip of the hat down and to the side, fluffing it to shape a round head with a pointed beak, then sew to secure.
Did you sew yours down already?
What do you think? - Babies and their families will Love whatever you come up with. Hope I am saying this right.

grandmaJoe yes I sewed them down and did put a little stuff in them. It's hard to get a pointed nose cause that's where you start the pattern at. will try to shape them better.

This Hat is adorable, nose could be a little more point to it? Im no expert. Looks fine as is tho for Babies love all with love in every stitch. I may have missed pattern for this or did you expertly make it up? Luv friend: Susan MJ

You did a great job, they're adorable. If you want to add more of a pointy beak you could use orange yarn with a treble stitch in the middle, maybe a single crochet stitch on each side? I like them just like they are, they look like baby chicks.
