That doily is beautiful. It would go perfectly right in the middle of our antique dresser from my husband's grandmother! We have purple in that bedroom. The doily is exquisite. I have thread in drawers to do doilies, but I have so many other projects waiting. It makes my fingers itch. Awesome.

Yes, there is a natural pearl in the center. I used to make jewelry too, so I had some laying around!

Oh My Goodness! Your doily is fab!!!!! What to adopt me? I have the perfect place for this. Just outstandingly beautiful. Wish I knew how to read patterns. I would definitely try a doily. The colors are amazing and the pearl in the center truly sets this apart from anything I've come across. I collect antique and vintage doilies - so I've seen a lot of them, but this one takes the cake!
