    Nesting Baskets

Check out the set of nesting baskets I made this week. I'm just finishing up on the 5th one which is the largest. I'm really pleased with how they came out.

I used 2 strands of worsted weight acrylic yarn in gray and light brown with an I size hook.

For those of you who want the pattern, I'll scan it and post it next week. It's a very easy pattern to follow. I so dislike it when I have a pattern, especially if I've purchased it, and it's full of mistakes and is so difficult to follow. That recently happened to me when I purchased a pattern on line for a "Shell Shawl." Paid $5 bucks for the pattern which was full of serious flaws and mistakes. I made it, but for the work I put into it, ripping out and re-doing over and over again (one area I literally ripped out SIX TIMES before I figured out what the pattern was "supposed" to say). :/ So frustrating!!

    Hi Shelley,
These came out great. I made these a few months back but only made 3 and 4 size sets.

Caryn!!!!! Oh my gosh you have made the most BEAUTIFUL stuff!!!! What a true artist you are! Can I come over to your house?? LOL I relate to everything you've made. I've had an on line business for several years, I sell vintage and antique costume jewelry on eBay. I haven't been actively working it lately because I have my crochet and other things I'm doing with my precious free time. But I have tons of vintage jewelry in my inventory, boxes and boxes and boxes of it. I'll get back to it again one of these days. I have always wanted to learn beading and making jewelry. There just aren't any classes in my area.

Y'all need to check out Caryn's pics on her link...
