It is a modified cross stitch. skip 1 chain, dbl in next 3, then dbl in skipped chain. 1 dbl at the beginning and end of each row.

I like the colors have you ever seen the one they call a taco blanket it is round and uses about a skein of thread you could use your own design with stitches that you know. they are really cool too

I used a modified cross stitch. I just made it up. modified cross stitch=1 dbl, sk 1 chain, dbl in next 3 chains, dbl in skipped chain, repeat until last chain with 1 dbl in last chain.
