    Need a Good Laugh?

Then you got it. It's my Valentines book cover. My husband said it looked stupid. And although three girls in my group said nice things, one of them couldn't stop laughing...to the point of tears. I convinced myself to post this picture because if I just show the good ones I wouldn't be completely honest. So here goes. I made the Jake and Finn from a pattern created by an 8 year old girl posted in her blog "The Bean Patch". I don't know how to attach the link. The baby blanket was out of leftover yarn and I love how it came out.

Not laughing here either. Everything looks great! An 8 year old designer is also encouraging news.

Well, the heart is WAY too big. The border is just too curly. And the bulkiness of the worsted weight yarn is just too much. Hey, I like it and my night stand is its home. I was going to send it to Faye for my swap item, but after everyone's reaction, I decided against that. Thanks for your kind words. I can count on you guys to make me feel better about it.

I agree hand them a hook . I like them. I have a few things in the house that my hubby does not really like but as i told him they are not for you so tuff. I have also done a few items that were to frilly that i redid just to take the frilliness out.
God will never put more on your plate then you can handle.

They look GREAT...the heart isn't to big at all, and curly isn't a bad thing! You did a great job and thanks so much for sharing....
