    I can't crochet!!! I'm dyin' here!!!

    I'm dyin' here
    I can't crochet
    Got steroid shots
    Just yesterday!!!

    The doctor said
    It's trigger finger
    We must fix this now
    We cannot linger

So I stuck out my thumbs
    Squeezed my eyes shut tight
Prayed my way through the pain
    With all my might

    Came home really hurtin'
    Like a wounded soldier
    No choice but to let
My need to work but to smolder

    I'm losing my mind
    I'm snapping at hubby
    Who, God Bless him,
    Still continues to love me

    So I'm asking my friends
    At Crochettalk
    To help me through
    This lonely walk

    Of doing nothing
    And losing my mind
    Without my hooks
    I can't unwind!!!

OMG! Great Poetry! Sorry you have to wait to crochet. I have been thru that trigger finger crap. No fun, I can tell you!. Surf for patterns to use when you can crochet. You can really find a lot while you are laid up, and can make you feel better. Like shopping without making the feet and fingers tired. LOL. Judy

Love the poem! Too bad it comes with pain!! I vote for pattern surfing! Ravelry is a great site-there are tons of patterns all in one spot and they all have pictures!! Hope you are back crocheting very soon!!! Hugs!!!

Sorry you are in pain and can't crochet or knit right now, I have never heard of trigger fingers, I know when I played the flute or piano when I was younger my fingers at the top would lock up I guess double jointed. I would have to massage my fingers for hours. I still have problems with my fingers getting stuck, I wish there was an answer. reading crochet books other books looking for new patterns doesn't help but can be interesting finding new patterns to do when your fingers are working better! LOVE YOUR FRIEND MANDA!
