    Slippers!

And the use of my very first pattern. Hahaha. I haven't used a pattern previously because I'm too lazy... I just wing it and it always turns out well. These were actually a pattern and they turned out pretty well. Next time I won't increase the round so much (I added one more row of increases every two, the original pattern stopped a row before this though, so a miscalculation on my part.) I also changed the straps so they weren't so skinny and I added a chain that connected to the heel to hold it up. The back is pretty short, maybe it'll stay on better after it's been worn in.

    Slippers!

    Slippers!

    Slippers!

Here's the pattern I used: Ravelry: Minni Slippers pattern by Johanna Yli-Muilu - I found it a bit confusing at times but that may just be my total newbishness at patterns lol. It was super easy overall.

Hey if you feel it is too short in back you can always add a row and trim. If you don't like it you can rip it back to the original. Thats whats so great about yarn is its so forgiving. We have all probably changed a pattern somewhere along the way. I like the Mary Jane pattern, looks like you did a good job.

Yeah, I thought about it but I wanted to see what it look like after it's settled in. Been wearing them all day and they are shaped better now to my feet and the yarn has settled more or less. :] Thanks for the compliment!

I love those. They look good on your feet. Some of them really look gross. But those are pretty on your feet. Great job!. Judy

Thanks everyone! It's already been cold here, no need to wait a week LOL. I made a little octopus yesterday, I'll have to make him his own thread soon.
