Christmast Presents
I am in a group of 8 ladies and we meet every Tuesday for crochet and fellowship. Today was our Christmas "party". I made every one a heart doily with 10 button on hearts. It is the gift that keeps on giving because I can make other things to change out with the hearts. My thoughts are: stars,flowers, butterflies, shamrocks, Easter eggs, pumpkings, spiders, ghosts, poinsettias, Christmas trees, sparkly snowflakes, bells, and I've only just started thinking. I drew Marget name and made her the snowflake towel set. I found this great stuff called invisible stitch, lke glue but it is made special for applique, so YEA no sewing to put the snowflakes on.

I'm the only one in my group that is obsessive excessive about crochet. One girl has been working on the same baby blanket for two years. One of us tried a felting purse and it totally fell apart. Its a special time where we're just together...talking alot about medications, ailments, doctors, tests, well you get what I'm saying. I'm the one they call "a glutton for punishment" because I like to try challenging things.

where does your group meet? online or at someone's home..how do you get together? Do you just exchange patterns for your gifts or how does it work?
