Thankyou! I have always loved frogs also. My aunt and i always get eachother gifts of frogs for holidays or birthdays. I was planning on making her this hacky sack frog pattern instead of putting beans or rice in it because she has puppies i decided to stuff it. The leg and feet for that pattern was ugly so i went through my hundreds of frog patterns and found one that looked better but i had to add toes and make legs longer. I hated the eyes I had crocheted in with the original pattern so i looked through more patterns and came up with those. He was to long so i put a strand of yarn through the top of head to bottom to make him more plump. I love crocheting berets and slouchy hats so i made him a hat to cover up the yarn on top of his head. Then he became the FRENCH FROG! Sorry for this long chapter! Thanks to all!

My granddaughter, also named Amanda, loves Frogs. For her baby shower I crocheted her a baby blanket and appliqued frogs onto it. She loved it.For her birthday I crocheted a frog shaped rug. It was harder working in continuous rounds, but it came out so cute...only wish I'd taken pictures of it.Hindsight is great, just wish I could get it sooner LOL
