Scripture Afghan
I just got 2 new orders for a Scripture Afghan. This project is a stitch sampler type afghan that is made using different crochet stitch patterns that can be related to different bible verses. Usually, the recipient or the person who commissions the project chooses their favorite bible verses for each stitch pattern and then I create a little booklet to accompany the afghan with the bible verses and square patterns placement so they can refer to it when identifying the different stitch patterns. It makes a very nice gift.

Originally I found the booklet from Leisure Arts Scripture Afghan: Home page - Leisure Arts Now I use various stitches from many different projects and other sampler type afghans for the squares. As long as I can find scripture that corresponds to the stitch pattern, I use any stitch that I like.
