First C2C baby blanket I ever made
Hello, A while back I saw some Corner to corner blankets that I thought were so cute. I watched several videos to see how they did them but they looked very complicated. Later I saw a video which I posted on this forum where they used the Granny stitch. So I just finished my first C2C baby blanket. I really liked it so much it worked up fast and was really very easy to do. The blanket is a square and if I made another one I think I would make it bigger or in a rectangle if possible. I added a border to make it a little bigger.
This is for the baby boy due in February.
It is a shame that the variegated yarn colors didn't show up between the yellow stitches those were puff stitches and that gave a lot of pop to the blanket.

Nice work Spoula. The c2c I made a while ago I made into a rectangle and it seemed to take a long time to make.

Hi Jean Marie, Thanks for the compliment. This blanket worked up so fast I couldn't believe it. I wish I would have done this blanket pattern for that grey and yellow one that my niece wanted. Remember I could not get my head wrapped around the grey color for a new baby girl. I didn't see this C2C pattern until after I had aleady made the blanket.
I would like to see your rectangle blanket I don't remember you posting it.

Nice work, Spou. So neat & tidy as usual. It is too bad that all those colours didn't show in the photo.
What yarn and what hook did you use?

Hi MeToo,
Thank you for the nice compliment. You won't believe how fast this blanket worked up.
I used a G/6 4.00 mm Yellow and the variegated yarn was Baby Bernat size 3.
The solid blue was Lion Brand Pound of Love #4.
I have enough of the blue to make a little coat that I just started.

Hi Jean Marie, I remember seeing that blanket but know it was a C2C blanket. What stitch did you use and how did you get the length? The one I made was a square .
