I am attaching the pattern of the first knitted item I ever made. I wanted to learn how to knit and picked a baby boy sweater. Little did I know it was going to be so hard to do. I had never knitted before and had just gotten a little grandson. I had already crocheted a blanket for him. I wanted to try knitting as my mother had left me some knitting needles. I love the way knitting looks. I made the sweater but I knitted too tight and it turned out kind of stiff (well more like cardboard). I have learned to loosen up a little so it is a happy experience. I like to crochet more but sometimes I try knitting again. I just finished a knitted sweater that Teamster1971 gave me some knitting advise. I will post that later along with the crochet bikini's my older grand-daughters asked for. Needle work never stops and I love doing it.

It is nice not sure I would of tried this so new at knitting but good for you for doing it.
